Tapa Kalān - Figure
This character, who could be the god Brahma or a young brahman, is dressed in uttarāsaṅga robe and carries his hands joined in añjalimudrā. The long hair, tied in a bun on top of the head, falls over ears with widely distorted lobes. The face, of an idealised type, is juvenile.
Observation :The head of this figure is probably the one already recorded by Barthoux as fig. 92b / HADB 78.
