Tapa-i Kafarihā - Figure
From this fragment of a niche emerges the bust of a genius. In a orant position, he is leaning forward, his hands clasped in anjalimudrā. The hair is stylised: the face is framed by large round curls and he wears a bun; on the rest of the hair, the wave is summarily depicted in a hollow. He is almost naked, his left shoulder and arm covered by a kind of paridhāna. He was wearing large disc-shaped earrings.
