Description :

The figure could be the god Indra or a Bodhisattva. The bands of trimmings of his turban are attached to a central plate and folded tissue strips surround the pleated palmette that emerges from it. The heart of the 'flower' thus formed appears to be set with a medallion. The face, completely idealised, is comparable to that of some Buddhas.
