Description :

This character could be Indra, a Bodhisattva or a secondary deity. He is wearing a turban, the folds of which are fixed by a circular medallion in the centre of his forehead. The face is not of the local type: square face, broad features, thick lips. The serene and smiling expression is idealized. The deformed ears have small rectangular beads on the side of the lobes.
