Description :

Bodhisattva's head broken at the hair level. The hairstyle is completely stylised; the undulations are rendered by oblong cavities. The head seems to be encircled by a band and the bun is decorated with an ornament, perhaps a figure, an animal or a pyramidion. The face is inspired by a local ethnic type.
