Tapa Kalān - Figure
The hair is almost slicked back and pulled back. The uṣnīṣa bun is encircled by a simple but thick band of rolled fabric. The idealised face is delicate, feminising. Hellenistic influence is noticeable. The posture suggests movement. This Bodhisattva wears earrings with a lion's head clasp.
