The face of this Bodhisattva, with its gentle, idealised expression, is framed by two rows of "colimaçon" curls. He wears a turban made of superimposed bands of cloth, joined at the front of the forehead by a clasp. The undulations of the uṣnīṣa bun emerging from the turban are indicated by sketchy cavities.
