Tapa-i Kafarihā - Figure
Bodhisattva head with a Hellenistic profile. The round, idealised face is reminiscent of certain putti. The hair is styled on either side of a median parting and falls along the nape of the neck, barely wavy. He also wears a completely stylised bun: simple cavities suggest curls. This combination of different hair treatments is unusual. The bun is encircled by a tiara composed of alternating discs and crescents. The earlobes are deformed.
Observation :This head has been misplaced. It remains missing.
