Description :

The Buddha is depicted with a round, childlike face, which is reminiscent of some putti. The nose is wide, the mouth is not as usual animated by the eternal smile, but half-open. The hair, very damaged today, is curly. The locks are represented by very stylized curls, in spirals. They twist to the right, as described in the texts describing llakṣana. There is no trace of the ūrṇā.
