Tapa Kalān - Figure
The hair and the uṣnīṣa - placed very high on the skull - are treated in wavy strands running from front to back. The busted aquiline nose and sinuous mouth are hellenizing. The hair is surrounded by a line of red paint. The ūrṇā is also painted: it consists of two concentric circles, the inner circle being drawn with a thinner line than the outer circle. Similarly, we notice that the arches are underlined by a red line, as well as the lips. He is wearing deformed earlobes.
