Tapa Kalān - Figure
The strands of the hair and the uṣnīṣa bun are treated in wavy furrows. There is no trace of the ūrṇā. The face of the Buddha , thin and oval, is hellenizing: straight arch, bulging eyes, high cheekbones, thin mouth. The earlobes are deformed.
