Tapa Kalān - Figure
The strands of the hair and the uṣnīṣa bun are stylised, represented by furrows. The curls frame the forehead, which is slightly receding. The eye is half closed, and the mouth sketches a restrained smile. The Buddha's face is round and the earlobes are deformed.
Observation :The lower part of this head, kept in the Kabul Museum, has been destroyed.
