Description :

This Indian-inspired work is full of delicacy. The face is oval, the arches not very emphasized, the line of the nose nicely irregular. As is often the case, the ears are deformed and a fold marks the neck. The hair is curly, shown in tight round curls. The uṣnīṣa has disappeared. The trace of the ūrṇā above the eyebrows can be distinguished.

Observation :

It is probably this head that we find in Mme Tissot's Catalogue restored on a bust in teaching position in the Kabul Museum.
