Bāgh Gaï - Figure
The head of this female donor is encircled by two headbands. The hair is treated in stylised curls framing the forehead. On the rest of the hair, the waves are represented in hollows and the hair is arranged in the manner of a novice's braid falling forward. The earlobes are enlarged, the face is idealised. Her eyes are half closed and she smiles benevolently.
Observation :Perhaps this hairstyle arrangement was reserved for a particular ceremony or celebration.
