Description :

This warrior is wearing a pointed helmet that ends in a scroll above the ears and is fitted with a chinstrap. The face is idealised, soft and smiling.


Observation :

This head has been recorded twice in the "Catalogue of the National Museum of Afghanistan". The first time P. 426, K.p. Ha. 1173.240 from a photo by S. Mizuno, 1963: 136, the second time P. 458, K.p. Ha. 1293.360 from fig. 103d of Barthoux.
