Head of Secondary Deity

This secondary deity with a feminine appearance, of Indian inspiration, wears a high headdress, made up of a band of fabric that is rolled up in four stages, so that it narrows towards the top. The hair is represented by wavy furrows and falls over the ears with deformed lobes. The face is smiling The face of this secondary female deity is mutilated from nose to chin. She wears an elaborate headdress. The turban forms two spirals of fabric, a sort of bun in the form of a tendril, then folds into a loop of tissue, to fall back like a veil behind the neck. It is difficult to distinguish whether the disc seen below the ear is a piece of jewellery attached to a ribbon on the headdress or whether it is an earring.and idealised.
