Description
The face of this Buddha is of Hellenistic inspiration: straight cut of the superciliary arch, aquiline nose and thin mouth. The uṣnīṣa is placed high on the top of the skull and the hair is treated in waves parallel to the forehead. The ūrṇā is not visible. The round chin is almost prognathic and the earlobes are distended.
