Head of a deity, probably the god Indra

This deity, probably the god Indra, wears a diadem surmounted by a crescent behind which another decorative element, perhaps a palmette, can be seen. The hair is stylised: below the tiara, it falls in a mass of curls framing the face, above it, simple engraved notches represent the locks. The face is round and idealised, the eyes half-closed and the mouth animated by a slight smile.
