Description

It could be the god Indra or a Bodhisattva. He wears an elaborate turban, tied behind his head, made of a fishnet and decorated with bands of passementerie. Numerous cabochons and pastillages decorate it as well as a central jewel (or a set of fabric knots). The bouffette is set with a circular hollow jewel, through which a flap is folded. The face is of an idealised type. The earlobes are elongated and appear to have earrings.
