زندگی‌نامه

الکساندرا ونلین، بنیان‌گذار پروژه پایگاه داده باستان‌شناسی هده، دکترای علوم دوران باستان و متخصص هنر و باستان‌شناسی بودایی گندهاره است. پژوهش‌های او عمدتاً بر سنت هنری قالب‌سازی در تزیینات صومعه‌های بودایی افغانستان، به‌ویژه در هده، گسترش جغرافیایی هنر گندهاره و تحول ویژگی‌های منطقه‌ای آن متمرکز است. از سال ۲۰۰۵ تا ۲۰۱۲، او مسئول عملیات باستان‌شناسی در مأموریت مشترک فرانسه–افغانستان برای بررسی و کاوش بامیان به سرپرستی پروفسور زیمریالای ترزی بود. از سال ۲۰۲۱، او به‌عنوان مشاور علمی مستقل در پروژه گندهاره دیجیتال هاروارد FAS CAMLab مشارکت دارد.
