Description

The type of this Brahman is inspired by the Greek philosopher. Of mature age, with a serious expression, he wears his hair short and wavy, without a bun, a moustache and a beard, which is separated by two volutes. He wears an unusual garment, an exomid tunic, held by a tie on the shoulder and leaving the arm bare. Over this he is wrapped in a second drape, the uttarāsaṅga, which he holds with his left hand.
