Description

The square, cheeky face of this demon has a large skull whose two hemispheres have been exaggeratedly distinguished, swollen. The furious look, eyebrows furrowed over bulging eyes, combined with a ferocious, almost greedy smile, make its expression terrifying. The ears were probably elephant ears, the short nose was perhaps also that of an animal. This stocky demon was probably placed in an Atlantean position. With his head buried in his torso, naked and paunchy, he brandished what appeared to be a foot and a piece of leg with unhealthy delight. His own torn-off leg? The leg of an unfortunate companion? Another figure, whom the demon was holding upside down? The incomplete state of the work makes it impossible to know.
