Description
A row of curls frames the face of this Bodhisattva and falls on his ears with enlarged lobes; the rest of the hair appears to be straight, topped by a pleated palmette set with two pearls. The idealized face is in the Hellenistic style: straight cut of the eye, aquiline nose, hemmed mouth.
