Description

Head of a Bodhisattva, possibly Brahma. The face is idealised, round and childlike. He wears his hair long, wavy and raised on his head in a fan-shaped bun. The earlobes are largely deformed.

Observations

This head is probably the same as the one restored on a bust by Barthoux, fig. 96d / HADB 273.
