Photo by Jules Barthoux ©GrandPalaisRmn - Guimet Museum
Description
Half bald, bearded and mustached, this brahman wears his hair long, gathered in a parietal bun. Of remarkable execution, his tormented look expressing pain and pathos bears the mark of the Western influence.
