Description

The hair and the uṣnīṣa are highly stylised, treated in wavy furrows parallel to the forehead. There is no longer any trace of the ūrṇā. The facial lines are round, almost childlike: half-closed almond-shaped eyes, small nose, smiling mouth, round cheeks. The earlobes are largely deformed.
