Description

Buddha's head broken along the cheek to the chin, the top of the skull is missing. The hair is treated in beautiful wavy strands going from front to back. Except for the slightly marked arches, the facial features are of Hellenistic inspiration: straight nose, thin mouth. The chin is slightly prognathic. The earlobes, broken, must have been deformed.
