Description

This young donor is depicted as a chubby, laughing infant. The hair is treated in beautiful curls, styled on either side of the forehead. He wears a heavy earring made of a pearl ending in a point. His expression is joyful: the eyes are open and the fleshy lips are half-open in a smile.

Observations

Traces of polychromy can be seen: the eyebrows were painted, as were the pupils, and the eyes were highlighted.
