Description

This head could be that of the god Brahma or a brahman. The hair, which is medium-length and straight, is represented by parallel grooves. It covers the ears, which are elongated, and, on the top of the head, it is raised into a uṣnīṣa bun. The face is idealised, its expression frozen. The ūrṇā, represented by a stucco button, can be distinguished.
