Description

This figure, perhaps the god Brahma or a brahman, has his face turned to the left and is looking above him. With his hand, he makes the gesture of argumentation vitarkamudrā, thumb and forefinger joined. The long, straight hair falls over the shoulders, covering ears with enlarged lobes. No bun is visible. The face is soft and idealised.
