Description

This work is carefully executed. The hair and the uṣnīṣa bun are treated in curly locks running from front to back. Her features illustrate the perfect synthesis of classical and Indian influence. Her raised eyebrows, half-closed slanted eyes, and thin, hemmed mouth give her a precious expression. The earlobes are widely distended and the shape of the face is round. The forehead bears no trace of ūrṇā.
