Description

This Buddha with a smiling, blissful face is Indian in style. The hair is treated in large wavy locks going from front to back. The bun uṣnīṣa appears girded. There is no trace of the ūrṇā. The face, square in shape, is neatly regular. Small almond-shaped eyes, broad nose, fleshy, smiling mouth. The earlobes, now broken, were deformed.
