Head of god Brahma, a young brahman or a Bodhisattva

This figure could be the god Brahma, a brahman or a Bodhisattva. Clumsily executed, this head is disproportionate, perhaps deformed. The hair is raised in a curious high bun, perhaps decorated with a fabric knot (?). The face is wide. The visage, idealised and smiling, echoes certain Central Asian works. Perhaps it is the ūrṇā that can be seen high on the forehead.
